The Context Hints Playbook
The four-part targeting statement — persona, intent, scope, disqualifier — that replaces keyword lists in answer engine campaigns.
Answer engines do not match keywords; they match meaning. The context hint is the unit of targeting that emerges from that shift: a short, structured statement of who the buyer is, what they are trying to do, the boundaries that define fit, and what excludes them.
Keywords describe queries; hints describe buyers
A keyword like "cheap crm" collapses an entire buying situation into two words. The equivalent context hint names the founder evaluating tools, the renewal deadline driving urgency, the team-size boundary, and the enterprise suites that disqualify the fit.
That richness is what allows an answer engine to place an ad inside a genuinely relevant answer rather than beside a loosely related one.
The four-part structure
Every hint we publish follows the same grammar: persona, intent, scope, disqualifier. Members can generate, refine, and save hints with the Hint Generator in the dashboard, and the Answer Ad Academy teaches the structure with worked examples.
